HPMS Supports Local Foodbanks

A Huge Thank You to Our Glasgow and Edinburgh Teams!

At HPMS, we believe in the power of community and the importance of giving back. Both our Glasgow and Edinburgh teams stepped up to support their local foodbanks, and we couldn’t be prouder of their efforts!

Glasgow Team’s Generosity

Over the past month, our Glasgow team donated non-perishable food items, toiletries, and household goods. The generosity was overwhelming, and the team delivered an incredible contribution to SE Glasgow Foodbank. The foodbank staff were beyond grateful for the donations, which will go a long way in helping families in need across the community.

As a special bonus, Donald from SE Glasgow Foodbank kindly gave Robyn and Emma a tour of the operational side of the foodbank, showing them how the donations are sorted, how they are distributed, and what a typical family receives. It was a real eye-opener for the team, highlighting the importance of foodbanks in supporting local families, especially during tough times.

Edinburgh’s Team Effort

Over the past month, our Edinburgh team donated a significant amount of non-perishable food, toiletries, and household essentials to SE Edinburgh Foodbank. The generosity shown was truly remarkable, and the foodbank staff were equally grateful for the support.

Messages of Gratitude at the Foodbank

At the Edinburgh Foodbank, we also encountered a thoughtful table where visitors, volunteers, and clients were invited to share how the foodbank has impacted them and the benefits it provides. Below, you’ll find some of the heartfelt messages that highlight just how vital foodbanks are to the community:

  • “This is a VITAL service”
  • “We are in this together”
  • “It’s ok NOT to be ok”
  • “It’s reassuring to know there are people out there to help us when we are struggling. Thank you.”
  • “Thank you for all your help, whoever you are.”

Why Foodbanks Matter

Both Glasgow and Edinburgh Foodbanks, part of the Trussell Trust network, provide vital services to those facing food insecurity. The work they do is essential in ensuring families can access food and other essential household items during difficult times. Our donations help make sure they can continue their important work in the community.

Thank You, Glasgow and Edinburgh Teams!

A massive thank you to both teams for their incredible contributions! Together, our teams donated a combined total of 90kg of food and essentials—making a significant impact on the lives of many families in need. We are proud of our teams’ efforts and support for such a worthy cause.
