Inspiring City Awards

Hacking and Paterson Management Services are delighted to be once again supporting Glasgow’s “Inspiring City Awards” which launched today. The Awards celebrate the people who contribute to Glasgow’s cultural and economic climate, making it a truly thriving city.
Spearheaded by The Herald, Glasgow Chamber of Commerce and PEOPLE MAKE GLASGOW, and in association with a range of fellow successful and significant Glasgow businesses – including Scottish Water, Caledonian University and Glasgow Airport – Hacking & Paterson are pleased to be able to celebrate those people who have gone above and beyond over the past year to encourage, mentor and support investment and growth in Glasgow.

Awards are presented in 15 categories spanning Business, Education, Arts, Culture and Sport, and Hacking & Paterson are thrilled to be sponsoring the “Legacy Award” which recognises an individual or business which has made a lasting contribution to the city’s legacy and a positive difference to citizens of Glasgow. In this category, judges will assess how projects, businesses, individuals and communities can create lasting change across Glasgow.

Hacking & Paterson Director, David Doran, said: “We are proud of our Glasgow heritage and are again delighted at being involved in supporting these great awards for a second year. We continue to invest in the people of Glasgow who, coupled with the growth and prosperity of local businesses, are at the core of what makes Glasgow such a great city. All of last year’s nominees showed their dedication to the long term investment and betterment of Glasgow and we are again looking for strong, dedicated and dynamic entrants to the Legacy Award who have, through innovation, created lasting change within their industry for the betterment of Glasgow City and its people.”
Previous winners have included Glasgow Women’s Library, Allied Vehicles, Homeless World Cup, Glasgow Film Festival, Glasgow City Football Club, Barrhead Travel, Sir Alex Ferguson, Glasgow Life and the University of Strathclyde. Hacking & Paterson, along with all their event partners, are looking forward to learning about the nominees over the coming months and congratulating the deserving winners at the Awards Ceremony in September.
