Hacking and Paterson Management Services is proud to announce our official charity partnership— and it’s one that holds special meaning for us. We are delighted to be working with Early Years Scotland, a national charity making a powerful difference in the lives of children and families across the country.

What makes this partnership even more exciting is the local connection: Early Years Scotland is based just a stone’s throw from our Glasgow office. This proximity gives us a unique opportunity to see their work in action — and to get involved in a hands-on and impactful way.

About Early Years Scotland

Early Years Scotland is committed to giving Scotland’s youngest children the very best start in life. Through a wide range of services — from in-home support and play-based learning to parenting programmes and community outreach — their team works directly with families to build strong foundations for learning, wellbeing, and lifelong success.

Their approach is holistic and empowering, recognising that early year’s support not only benefits children, but strengthens entire families and communities. Whether it’s helping parents develop confidence and new skills, or creating joyful and enriching early learning environments, the impact of their work is both deep and far-reaching.

A Strong Start to a Strong Partnership

To mark the beginning of this meaningful collaboration, we are proud to make an initial £5,000 donation to support Early Years Scotland’s frontline work. This is just the first step in what we hope will be a long-term relationship — one that brings together our people, resources, and passion for making a difference.

To help our team connect with the charity’s mission on a deeper level, we recently welcomed Gary and Fiona from Early Years Scotland to our office for a presentation. They gave an insightful and moving overview of the charity’s work, its values, and how our support can make a tangible impact.

The session left a lasting impression on our staff — many described it as heartfelt and emotional but also inspiring. There was a clear sense of motivation to be part of this journey and work together to support a common goal: giving every child the best possible start in life.

Throughout the year ahead, we look forward to supporting a variety of initiatives and campaigns run by Early Years Scotland, including opportunities for volunteering, fundraising, and raising awareness within our teams and wider networks.

Why This Matters

At HPMS, we believe in giving back to the communities where we live and work. Supporting children in their early years is one of the most effective ways to foster long-term wellbeing, education, and opportunity. By partnering with Early Years Scotland, we’re not only investing in individual lives, but in Scotland’s future.

We can’t wait to share more about our partnership over the coming months and to celebrate the positive impact we can create together.

Together, we can help give every child the best possible start.
