Success Story – Bruce McKerrow

bruce mckerrow

As mentioned in our earlier news story, we would like to showcase our recent IRPM exam success stories and today we are pleased to celebrate Bruce McKerrow, a Team Manager in our Glasgow Office.

Bruce joined HPMS in May 2021, coming from an administration-focused background, with little property knowledge. He started as an Assistant Property Manager, working as part of a team covering properties across the central belt, which allowed him to build a strong knowledge of our various development types. In January 2023, Bruce was promoted from his role, making the step up to Team Manager.

Bruce now manages a district located in the West of Scotland, working with his team of Property Managers to offer a positive and focused customer experience.

2023 has been an extremely positive and successful year for Bruce. After his promotion in January, he was nominated for the Rising Star Award at the Property Managers Association Scotland (PMAS) Excellence Awards in March, going on to win this category. More recently, Bruce has achieved the IRPM Professional Diploma in Property Factoring, with a fantastic exam score of 93%.

Bruce says:

“I am very proud of what I have been able to achieve in the short time since joining HPMS, with the highlight being winning the Rising Star Award earlier this year.

This was a huge honour as it included various nominees from all over Scotland. I am looking forward to continuing my career here and hopefully the future is filled with many more successes.”
