Call on Scottish Government for Factor in every property.

Common Building Insurance

Scottish Property Factors have welcomed the call in the Scottish Parliament by John Mason MSP, for the Scottish Government to “consider making it compulsory to have a factor in situations where there is common property” in a building or housing development.

His view is that “the factor needs to have powers to do proactive maintenance… if we are serious about maintaining existing homes”. To read through his full parliamentary submission please visit page 31 at Parliament.scot
