Gemma joined the business as CFO in June 2025. Originally training at PwC within Audit, Gemma has around 20 years of experience in the Finance sector and has held senior leadership roles in a variety of industries, mainly focussed on technical accounting, change/project management and mergers & acquisitions activity. She also has experience in commercial contract negotiations, internal control/risk management and governance structuring.
A passionate people leader, Gemma has developed and supported several individuals on their accounting and finance career journey, and continues her enthusiasm for higher education support through her recent appointment as a Lay Member of Court at the University of the West of Scotland. Gemma is also a trustee of The Nepal Trust, a not-for-profit organisation focused on improving living conditions and opportunity for children and vulnerable people in Nepal.
