The Housing (Scotland) Bill

The Housing (Scotland) Bill was introduced on 26th March 2024 and seeks to make changes in the law in relation to housing – covering protections for tenants, preventing homelessness and other housing matters. The Bill is at Stage 1 of the legislative process and the Local Government, Housing and Planning Committee and Social Justice and Social Security Committee are seeking your views on it.

Click on the following link to learn further details of the Bill, and information on how to submit your views. The call for views closes on 17th May 2024, at which point the committees will produce reports before MSPs debate the Bill in the Chamber.
