Project Rescue Child

This month’s £500 charitable giving donation is to an international charity, Project Rescue Children (PRC).

The charity’s mission is to abolish child trafficking and exploitation across the world through rescue, aftercare, education and awareness.  It was founded in 2017 and is an entirely volunteer-based charity, relying solely on donations to be able to carry out its operations to support children who have been, or are at risk of being, exploited.

PRC is involved with a number of international projects, for example, partnering with the Mama Jane Rescue Centre and Children’s Home in East Africa, which provides individual care and a stable and safe living environment to orphaned and abandoned children.  PRC’s goal is to build similar safe houses in every country they work in and put as many vulnerable children as possible in a child sponsorship programme.  Sponsorship funds cover meals, clothing, bedding, and educational materials and allows for regular monitoring of the children’s progress and well-being by PRC’s representatives and their local partners.

PRC wants to make the world a better place for every child, by providing a safer environment for them to grow and thrive away from the hands of predators who take away their innocence and freedom, and we are pleased our donation will be able to go some way to helping this deserving cause.
