Appointment of David Doran as Managing Director

Hacking and Paterson Management Services are pleased to announce the appointment of David Doran as Managing Director with effect from 26th August 2019. David, brings a wealth of experience in the delivery of Property Factoring services, business management and implementation of modern technologies.

Having joined Hacking and Paterson Management Services in 2003, being appointed a Director in 2010, David brings over 20 years’ experience in the property industry to the position, 16 of which have been spent at the coal face of Property Factoring through a period of great change with the introduction of industry regulation.

David commented: “Having been heavily involved in steering the company through the introduction of industry legislation and adaptation to modern day Property Factoring, including various internal structural developments, I can relate to and identify the current needs of the industry, our people and most importantly our customers. I’m delighted to have this opportunity to build on the firm foundations of Hacking and Paterson Management Services and I look forward to shaping it’s future and striving to achieve excellence in all aspects of the service we deliver to our customers. The company would not be at the forefront of the industry today without our hard working and diligent staff. They are motivated and guided by a strong and committed Board of Directors, each with different and important skills, and I am looking forward to leading them in the years ahead ”

Neil Watt, retiring MD and recently appointed Chairman of Hacking and Paterson Management Services, added: “I am delighted that David has accepted the position of Managing Director. He has all the attributes to continue to take the company forward, and importantly has our customers needs to the forefront of his mind. We “celebrate” our centenary in 2022 and I look forward to seeing what changes lie ahead for David, his team and the industry.”
